getting unstuck

Sometimes clarity doesn’t come because we haven’t tried hard enough, but because we’re tired in a way that effort can’t fix. Not a tiredness that asks for more discipline—but one that asks for rest. Advent reminds us of this. Waiting isn’t weakness. It’s preparation.

There’s also something humbling about realizing how hard it can be to accept our own knowing. When the answer lives inside us, we keep searching outward. We trust books, teachers, and signs more easily than our own quiet truth. Receiving wisdom from ourselves requires a kind of permission many of us were never taught to give.
