Sometimes it shows up as excitement. Sometimes as discomfort. Sometimes as a quiet feeling that something in your life needs adjusting.
The challenge isn’t hearing the guidance. The challenge is trusting it.
The answers we’re searching for are often already inside us. We just need the courage to pause long enough to hear them.
What has your inner voice been trying to tell you?
Purposeof this self-assessment: To help you notice when life may be drifting off course—and gently invite you back into alignment.
How to use it: Set aside 10–15 quiet minutes. Answer honestly, without overthinking. This is not about being right—it’s about being real.
Step 1: The Gentle Scan
For each statement below, rate yourself from 1 to 5:
1 = Not at all true
3 = Sometimes true
5 = Very true
1. Emotional & Mental Signals
I feel more irritable, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained than usual
I find myself going through the motions rather than feeling engaged
I avoid thinking about certain areas of my life
I feel disconnected from what used to bring me joy
2. Physical & Energy Clues
My energy levels are consistently low
My sleep patterns are off (too much, too little, or restless)
I ignore signs from my body (tension, fatigue, stress)
3. Behavior Patterns
I stay busy to avoid slowing down or thinking
I say “yes” when I really want to say “no”
I’ve drifted away from habits that support my well-being
I feel stuck, but I’m not taking steps to change anything
4. Inner Alignment
I’m not sure what I truly want right now
My daily life doesn’t reflect my values or priorities
I feel like I’m living on autopilot
Step 2: Scoring
Scoring serves no purpose other than to bring into focus possible warning signs you are not seeing. Instead of focusing on a number, notice:
Which statements made you pause?
Where did you feel resistance or discomfort?
What surprised you?
These are your clues. Reflect on your answers, sit with them and see how you feel. You might want to discuss some of your findings with a friend or someone who can add their perspective.
Step 3: The Reflection
Using these prompts might help shed more light on what the self-assessment revealed. Consider writing about them in a journal, or discussing with a trusted friend.
Lately, I’ve been feeling…
One thing I’ve been avoiding is…
If I’m honest, what I need right now is…
A small change that could support me is…
Step 4: The Reset Question
Now that you are aware of things that might be bothering you, or contributing to your unrest, ask yourself the following:
“If I don’t pause now… where will this path lead me in 3–6 months?”
Then gently ask:
“What would it look like to choose differently—starting today?”
This blog is my public journal, an outlet that helps me connect with you, to share and express ideas, thoughts and reflections that are meaningful to me. It allows my creativity to flow and lets my intuition take me wherever positive vibrations are drawing me.
At times, my messages are to coach others, and other times, the intentions are simply to share, and celebrate whatever insight I have come upon. I enjoy interacting with new people and helping them to disengage from the minutiae of daily life to see the bigger picture. These conversations inevitably lead to inspiration and some of my greatest joys are sharing aha moments with someone whose life purpose becomes clearer.
I am attracting incredible opportunities in my life, and as long as I can, I will seize the day! Thank you for coming along.
