Adding Water To Your Day
The Triple Task Plan
It’s easy to set time to accomplish multiple self-care activities and boost your mood. Consider a triple task plan and see how easy it is, to integrate self-care in your day.
- Set an intention
It only requires a few minutes to close your eyes, take in, hold and exhale 5 deep breaths while repeating a mantra, or things you are grateful for. Hold the thought of what you are wanting to implement into your life.
Visualise yourself drinking water and enjoying how refreshing it tastes and how healing it is to your body.
2. You intention is to drink more water. List ways you can add water to your daily routine.
3. Intentionally practice having water in settings where you would be doing something else.

The 7-day Repeat Plan
If drinking water is really not in your routine and it’s a new self-care tasks that requires a larger commitment , you might want to set progressive goals and try it all week and increase in increments, or particular times of the day. Just make sure you focus on adjusting it so it fits in with the rest of your commitments .
For example
Week 1 – Drink 4 glasses of water minimum, with at least 1 glass of water when I wake
Week 2 – Drink 6 glasses of water per day, including one at each meal.
Week 3 – Drink 8 glasses of water per day, and marking each day on my tracker
