Who doesn’t like a celebration? What if I told you that Wonderful Wednesday is poised to become the new day of the week that we most look forward to?
Yes we look forward to Friday, but we are too busy wrapping up work and too exhausted to really enjoy what’s left of it. Saturdays are cluttered with commitments and errands and don’t offer the celebration feeling that we used to look forward to as young adults. Sundays can be deliciously relaxing, but it is curtailed by having to get ready again for the week ahead.
As we feel closer to the weekend, Wednesday brings a delightful sense of anticipation and lightness, making it a day with a positive outlook.
It can even be an opportunity to course-correct, catching up on what’s pending and even taking a mental break midweek is a great way to reset the routine.

The other days of the week don’t stand out the way Wednesday does. The mid-week point gives us a chance to refocus, re-energize and remind ourselves just how far we’ve come. That my friend, is Vivi Vibes wheelhouse! That is what we are all about!
How do we celebrate Wonderful Wednesdays?
Personally, I think it starts with wellness – and making it a day for self-care. Here are my suggestions:
Whether you’re pushing through goals or planning something fun for the weekend, today’s the perfect day to take a deep breath and enjoy the journey.
- Keep it simple, and light some candles before dinner and breathe in the moment.
- Feel how glorious it is, to know you are halfway there, and that you will most of the next two days. If journaling is your thing, then have at it!
- Sign up for a Wednesday yoga class, or join a friend for a walk and catching up over coffee.
- Set midweek goals. If you are a planner like me, nothing says celebration like a chance to reflect on progress made this week, and set a few attainable goals to finish strong.
- Treat yourself to an at-home spa treatment.
- Enjoy a midweek dinner out, It’s a simple way to reward yourself and meet up with friends.
- For the adventure types, plan a mini-excursion and scout out a new park, or a local attraction you have been hearing about
- Treat yourself to a small indulgence – pick up something you love, whether it’s a new book or a plant. It’s fun to celebrate and keep the positive vibes going.
